About Chiang Rai
Chiang Rai is the capital of the province with the same name in northern Thailand. It is a small and charming town with a number of authentic attractions that you must visit during your tour of Thailand. The city is also the starting point for special treks through nature. Near Chiang Rai is the tri-border with Laos and Myanmar, also known as the Golden Triangle.
The highlight of Chiang Mai is the 'White Temple.' Officially, the temple is named Wat Rong Khun. The temple is located just outside Chiang Rai and was designed by the artist Chalermchai Kositpipat. The White Temple is mostly white, featuring extraordinary exuberances and peculiar art. When the bright sunlight shines on it, the temple becomes literally dazzling. Another temple that is definitely worth a visit is Wat Phra Kaew (not to be confused with the one in Bangkok). This temple is famous for its emerald green Buddha. The Wat Phra Kaew temple is sacred in Thailand.
Day 4
Upon arrival at Chiang Mai airport, the driver will be waiting for you, and you will drive for approximately three hours to Chiang Rai. Here, you will stay for the next three nights at Laluna Hotel & Resort in a 'Pool View' bungalow with accommodation and breakfast. The following day, a jungle trekking is planned.
Day 5 Chiang Rai Jungle Trekking
Chiang Rai Jungle Trekking L At 08:30 AM, you will be picked up by songthaew (an open pickup truck), and it will take approximately 30 minutes to drive to the Akha village, where the trek will commence. Upon arriving in the village, we will start walking along a small stream. We will observe Akha farming, including the planting and cultivation of tea, bananas, and coffee. We then hike up and down hills through a bamboo forest, with stunning views of the typical mountain agriculture of this region, including rice fields and pineapple plantations. After this trek through the jungle-farming area, we will walk for about an hour and a half through a varied hilly landscape, along the Huay Mae Sai River, where we will stop to cook lunch. What will be cooked for lunch? We will prepare sticky rice in bamboo, barbecue pork, and eggplant salad. This is the unique Akha style of cooking, and you can also help with cooking to learn a bit about how these simple yet delicious local dishes are prepared. After lunch, we will have a short trek of about 15 minutes to a waterfall for swimming and relaxation. Once refreshed, we will walk via a different route, taking about an hour and a half back to the Akha village, after which we return to the city by car or songthaew.

About Kanchanaburi
The city of Kanchanaburi is primarily known for the 'Bridge over the River Kwai.' This bridge is part of the railway line between Thailand and Myanmar, which was constructed under dire conditions during World War II. In and around Kanchanaburi, there are various memorials and cemeteries where prisoners of war from this conflict are buried. Beyond this, the area offers many more attractions, such as the Dragon Head Cave Temple and the Erawan Waterfalls. The waterfalls consist of seven tiers, with the water cascading a total of 1500 meters downward. All seven levels are accessible to visitors. However, the ascent is lengthy and sometimes steep, so it is advisable to wear good shoes. If you become too warm, you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the waterfalls.

Over Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is the foremost city in northern Thailand. In terms of size, it is the second-largest city in Thailand, yet it is forty times smaller than Bangkok. As a result, Chiang Mai feels much more authentic and small-scale compared to the capital. Nestled between the mountains and amidst stunning natural surroundings, it is the perfect place to actively explore nature.
The old center of Chiang Mai is full of hidden, cozy neighborhoods, narrow alleys, and ancient temples. Here, one can spend a delightful day wandering among the dazzling temples, where monks in their bright orange robes glide over the courtyards. Explore the old city walls and gates, or roam through the charming, lively streets. Each evening in Chiang Mai, you will find the 'Street Market' where you can indulge in delicious local delicacies and be entertained by street performers.
The Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is the most famous temple in Chiang Mai. Located just outside the city at an elevation of 1,600 meters, this golden temple can be reached by climbing a staircase of 290 steps. While it might be a bit of a workout, the shrine and the view over Chiang Mai make the climb well worth the effort.
Today, a transfer to the Chiang Mai airport will occur. From there, you will fly with Air Asia in economy class to Phuket.
Concerning Koh Yao Noi
For those who wish to avoid mass tourism and seek an authentic and unspoiled island, Koh Yao Noi should be included on the list of desired destinations. In Koh Yao Noi, you will not encounter large groups of Russian, Chinese, or other tourists. This small tropical island is situated to the east of Phuket and forms part of the Ao Phang Nga Marine National Park. Koh Yao Noi is chiefly composed of forests and miles of stunningly beautiful sandy beaches. From the rolling hills behind the beaches, one can enjoy a magnificent view of the limestone formations that characterize the coastline of the nearby Ao Nang. The local population sustains itself through fishing and the cultivation of coconuts, rice, cashew nuts, and rubber. Tourism has only begun to increase slightly in recent years. Visitors to this island primarily come for tranquility, beaches, and nature.
Arrival and Transfer
Upon arrival at Phuket Airport, there is a transfer to the harbor of Phuket, from where you will take a boat journey of approximately half an hour to Koh Yao Noi. Subsequently, you will proceed at your own convenience to the Cape Kudu Hotel, where you will spend the next three nights in a ‘Deluxe Sea View’ room based on bed and breakfast.

Our Deluxe rooms exude luxury and tranquility, offering spacious accommodation and home-like amenities in an appealing rustic yet chic interior. The luxurious, comfortable bed is perfect for lounging in all day, and the private balcony is ideal for soaking up some sun with a good book.
