South Bali Tour & Kecak fire dance
-
Private | 6 hours
Day22 | 22-01-2026

At 13:00, a private car will pick you up. You will first visit Waterblow in Nusa Dua, where ocean waves crash against the rocks and create big sprays of water. Afterwards visit Uluwatu Temple. This is one of Bali’s most famous temples on a cliff. The temple grounds are also home to a large population of monkeys, who are clever in snatching items such as smartphones, sunglasses and hats. Be careful with your belongings, as these clever primates know that guides will often try to trade them back with a small packet of peanuts. At 18:00, watch the Kecak Fire Dance, one of Bali’s most famous traditional performances. The dance tells parts of the Ramayana, the story of Prince Rama and his wife Sita. When Sita is taken by the demon king Ravana, Rama, his brother Lakshmana, and the monkey general Hanuman go to rescue her. The dance shows the fight between Rama and Ravana and represents the triumph of good over evil, loyalty, courage, and devotion. Performed at sunset, the dancers wear colorful costumes while a group of men chants “cak-cak-cak” in rhythm. After the dance, around 19:00, the driver will take you back to your hotel.
