Since 2013, Joyce has been living in Karimunjawa (Java) and, together with her Indonesian husband Sudar, has built Hotel & RestaurantThe Happinezz Hills. Due to the high interest from hotel guests, friends, and family who wanted help organizing not only their trip to Karimunjawa but also their entire journey through Indonesia, we began creating fully personalized itineraries throughout the country. With our own travel experience, cooperation with trusted local partners, and attention to detail, we arrange accommodations, transportation, and tours, ensuring a professional, well-organized, and worry-free journey.
We strive to work as much as possible with eco-friendly initiatives and are committed to responsible tourism. We also donate a part of our income to Kejora Karimunjawa, a foundation of which we are one of the founders, dedicated to educational projects for both children and adults in Karimunjawa.

As there are many ethnic groups living in the city, such as the Javanese, Minangkabau, Batak, Indians, and Chinese, the city is an example of a multicultural and multi-ethnic society.
